Jin Shin Jyutsu Organ Patterns

When I do Jin Shin Jyutsu Patterns on a client, I hold the positions of my hands until I feel the pulses come together. You will most likely be able to feel the pulse in many of the positions. It takes a sensitive and knowing touch and with practice, will develop over time. All patterns can be done sitting or laying down-whichever you find more comfortable.

I believe, since I teach energy healing, rubbing your hands together before you start gives them more piezo electricity
and makes your treatment more effective.

Pancreas, Stomach and Bladder Patterns

Pancreas, stomach and bladder are the most commonly "needed" patterns, which I have described with words thoroughly on this page and then at the bottom of this page you will find photographs that correspond to the patterns. I would recommend starting with at least 9 deep breaths on each point-more if you have time. Jump start your energy and feel better, instantly! Hmmm, immediate gratification doesn't normally take place in natural healing but it does with this practice! Instead of "feel the burn" you'll be saying, "Feel the gurgle" of energy moving!

JSJ Pancreas Pattern: Place your right hand's fingertips on your tailbone and your left hand's finger tips behind your left ankle, medial inside of ankle (JSJ5L aka kidney 3 in Chinese acupressure). Breathe deeply 9 times and then move your left hand to the inside of your leg, just above your left knee (JSJ1L) and breathe deeply 9 times. Now bring your left hand to your pubic bone and breathe deeply 9 times. Now place your left hand (your right hand never left your tailbone;) on the center base of your right ribcage (JSJ14R) and breathe 9 times. Leaving your left hand on the base of your right rib cage, move your right hand away from your tailbone and place it on a point where there is a depression on your 3rd rib on your left side (JSJ13L). This point is about halfway between the base of your collar bone and your nipple. Now move your right hand back to your right side to the base of your right collar bone (JSJ22R aka kidney 27 in Chinese acupressure:)   Now for the other side;)

Breathe deeply 9 times and then move your right hand to the inside of your leg, just above your right knee (JSJ1R) and breathe deeply 9 times. Now bring your right hand to your pubic bone and breathe deeply, 9 times. Now place your right hand (your left hand is still on your tailbone;) on the center base of your left ribcage (JSJ14L) and breathe 9 times. Leaving your right hand on the base of your left rib cage, move your left hand away from your tailbone and place it on a point where there is a depression on your 3rd rib on your right side (JSJ13R). This point is about halfway between the base of your collar bone and your nipple. Now move your left hand back to your left side to the depression under the base of your left collar bone (JSJ22L aka kidney 27 in Chinese acupressure:)

JSJ Stomach Pattern: If you have just finished your pancreas pattern you have your hands on JSJ22 and JSJ14 (top and bottom of your rib cage on the same side-I always start as I instructed above, so I have ended up completing the pancreas on the right side of my upper body so I leave my right hand on JSJ22R and put my left hand just below my cheekbone on the right side JSJ21R) and I take 9 deep breaths. My left hand is not going to leave JSJ21R for the entire side but my right hand moves from the collarbone point to the lower left rib cage (JSJ14L) for 9 breaths. Now move your right hand to the back of your body to the same place-bottom of rib cage and breathe deeply 9 times JSJ23L. Move your right hand to JSJ14R, the point on the bottom of your rib cage on the right side and breathe deeply 9 times. Now cross over to your high knee point on the left side (JSJ1L) and breathe deeply 9 times. On the same knee go to the outside of the leg and come down a bit below the top of the fibula (JSJ8L aka stomach 36 in Chinese acupressure). This point will most likely be a little sore as it is named "the cure for a thousand diseases" in China. Once you have breathed 9 times there move your right hand down your leg and grab your middle toe.

Now do the other side;)

Bladder Jin Shin Pattern: I start with my right hand on the back of my neck pressing on the left side (JSJ12L) about halfway between my ear and my midline and breathe deeply 9 times and my left hand is on my tailbone. My right hand will not leave this neck point for the entire pattern on the left side but my left hand is going to trace the pattern down the left side of my body. After the 9 breaths there my left hand moves to behind the left knee for 9 deep breaths and then I move my left hand to JSJ16L; just behind the left ankle. Whenever I do the points behind the ankle I simply grab hold of the indents on the inside and outside behind the ankle. After the 9 breaths behind the ankle I move my left hand down to my little toe and grab hold of that for 9 more breaths. Now, do the other side!
