SPIDER BITE CAME BACK TO BITE ME AGAIN !
I never would have believed one little bite from one little spider could cause so much diestress! Boy, am I learning how to breathe deeply these days! Apparently, I am not the only one who has had a re-occurence of the bite that bit ya! Watch out for spiders, folks! Turn on lights and move stuff around before you stick your hands into places you can't see. That way, when the spider starts to move, you can either safely catch him or step on him/her firmly. Sorry, I realize that is not a very Zen like thing to do but you haven't walked in the shoes I wear. I am sorry, these shoes now step on spiders-well, except for "banana and crab" spiders-can they hurt me?
I was bitten by a brown recluse spider in March (Spider Bite Story) and went through 10 days of antibiotics, a bunch of pain, twitching legs and detox to make me appreciate life. I get the message Dear Universe, I really do appreciate life:) Hey-at least I ended up with a lovely smiley face scar on my inner right arm. Well, Jeff told me it resembles a yin-yang symbol so I guess it's transforming as the story continues...
A few weeks ago, I started getting indigestion with every meal. I hadn't had regular heartburn since the "old days" of eating unhealthy foods and drinking a bit too much alcohol. I decided to watch my diet and see when it was occuring.
Since the bite in March, I have been relatively careful about my diet, less than a couple of drinks per week, no fatty foods, my Sunrider detox teas and my exercises for devotion. I just felt so good after the deep detox I figured, why not stay slim and healthy. Make the most of a good life change and keep it in place :)
As the days wore on, I wore out. The indigestion was occuring after every meal and was beginning to be very painful. I began to get nauseous after every meal, unable to keep anything down.
Ok, time for the doctor again, Diane. Anyone who knows me, knows I try to heal myself first and if it ain't working-then I don't hesitate to head straight for Trenton Medical Center. I would rather use alternative methods to cleanse and let the body repair itself, but, I also know when I don't have the right tools or the time. I know when am wrong.
The staff at Trenton Medical Center's always awesome, taking me in on a Monday morning and seeing me within 15 minutes of my arrival. Of course, the really sick night I had was Saturday night. Why do you always get sick on a weekend? I was spinning and having palpitations and walking around the parking lot in a big singing, "Om mani padme hum, I am eternal soul," around the parking alot at the Mad Italian Restaurant. Good thing they weren't busy. I realized these symptoms were just like the ones I had experienced back in March. I was finished with my remedies but was feeling so great I never considered that was still lingering.
They did a blood test for H pylori and had the answer back in 5 minutes, I definitely had this nasty bacteria in large quantities in my tummy and they were most likely eating a hole in my stomach lining. Actually, we all have a little in our systems and 50% of the world population sometimes suffers from it's side effects-but you know me, I don't do anything half-assed-if I am going to get sick - I GET SICK !
They prescribed 3 kinds of antibiotics-the traditional way to knock these little buggers out of the system. I started on them on Monday morning and Tuesday night went to bed, dizzier than ever. Hey-I know I am a little dizzy all the time-but I mean, the, "Oh my, I think I am going to pass out" dizzies.
I called my frequency testing friend, Lynn Deen, in Gainesville and she said she could see me in the afternoon. The dizzies only occurred if I ate anything so I didn't eat before I drove in to see her. She tested all my organs-they were strong. She tested for the H pylori, it was dying rapidly as there was very little left in my system. The antibiotics were working.
"Let's see if the spider venom is still in me," I asked her. I think she was doubtful but tested for it anyway.
The computer showed A HIGH CONCENTRATION of venom still in my system. Well, actually, what it showed was my body needed to have the remedy to push the spider venom out in order to operate at maximum efficiency. This spider bite was still causing big stuff after 5 months. She made my drops and I headed home so I could eat a little something and lay down.
Since then, I have spoken to 3 people who have had friends who have had wounds open up yearly for the past 6 years, people who have spontaneous nose bleeds years later, stroke vicitms, and worse. This is serious stuff, folks.
So, this morning I am sticking to the liquid diet and packing my truck for my trip to Atlanta. I don't get dizzy if I don't eat so I will wait till late this afternoon, after I am done driving, before I eat anything. I fly to New England on Thursday for my 34th high school reunion with lots of stories to tell.
I keep a positive attitude and believe everything is going to be just fine. Everything is just fine, because I know what I am dealing with and I work with some of the best healers in the country. We shall overcome !
By the way, western medicine does not have any antevenin for the brown recluse spider-trust me, if they had a cure, I would be taking it, not matter what the side effects. I am a Natural Health Care Advocate, not a NUT !
Peace to all, Diane
